About

What VectorCraft Online is, who runs it, and how it relates to the official VectorCraft project.

Last updated: 2026-10-12

VectorCraft Online lets you use VectorCraft, the free open-source Illustrator alternative, instantly in your browser — no download, no installer, no account.

Who makes what

  • VectorCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and contributors and released under the MIT or Apache-2.0 licence. The official project site is getartcraft.com.
  • VectorCraft Online is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the ArtCraft team or Adobe Inc.

What we host

We serve the unmodified official VectorCraft web build from the project's GitHub releases and check its SHA-256 checksum on every build. The only file we change is the small loading page around it, which shows download progress. The licence texts and notices ship with the editor at /editor/LICENSE-MIT, /editor/LICENSE-APACHE and /editor/NOTICE.txt.

On top of the editor we write guides, comparisons and download help to make VectorCraft easier to start with.

Your files stay with you

The editor runs entirely on your device using WebAssembly. Artwork you open, create or export is never uploaded to us.
